IT Background

Computer programming studies at Control Data Institute followed my pre-med work at Tufts University, and I was recruited out of school to work in a consulting firm in NH. Later, after seveal years as a senior software engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation, I started my own consulting business. Over the years, I have worked with many of the top financial and academic institutions, along with many Fortune 500 companies in New England.

For most of my recent career, my emphasis has been on web-based technologies. I have extensive database skills in SQL Server, MySQL/PHP, along with Oracle, Sybase, MS Access and many other scripting languages. As companies have migrated towards the web to expand economically or for marketing presence, the depth of supportive database applications and server programming has increased dramatically. I have written thousands of stored procedures and database script files for a wide range of database applications. I have also programmed fully functional e-commerce websites for a number of smaller firms and I continue to maintain and update their sites as needed.

In March, 2008, Lee achieved MySQL Associate Certification (CMA), establishing professional competence in basic MySQL System Administration and Basic/Advanced SQL programming.
